Astonishing service history portfolio comprising of 174 parts & maintenance invoice documents, totalling an eye watering £12,257! This figure is excluding any invoices for onward sales of the vehicle, the LPG system, and seemingly any previous resprays or interior fit outs (despite evidence of this is apparent throughout the vehicle). The car even has its own bespoke user manual and identity folder, created by former keepers detailing absolutely everything you need to know! It includes wiring diagrams, itemised service parts required, parts replaced, upgrades fitted, works carried out, parts catalogues, importation documentation, LPG conversion manuals and certificates, USA registration document, UK registration document, and so much more. I simply cant even begin to list all the parts and upkeep invoices in the service history portfolio, it really is the most comprehensive I have seen in 23 years of sourcing and selling cars. If you plan to come and view and look at the service history, then please allow at least an hour to go through it! It is that extensive, incredible and lovely to see! So what do we have? 1966 Pontiac Ventura Coupe with a sole stirring 415 Big Block Oldsmobile Engine, Performer Inlet, Tubular Headers, 680 Holley Carburettor and automatic gearbox. Imported from the States in August 1999 and owned by its current custodian since 2018. Offered for sale for the first time in over 7 years and currently the only Pontiac Ventura for sale outside of the USA! What a rare and unique opportunity this is for somebody to be the talk of the car show and American car scene. It is clear to see the extent of mechanical and cosmetic maintenance this Pontiac has recieved over the past 26 years in the UK, from both its physical presence and documented history portfolio. That said, the car has been in storage since 2018 and requires a degree of recommissioning. The car runs, sounds amazing and gets down the road well. The gearbox, brakes and steering are all fully operational. Bodywork wise, the very lower sections have started to bubble up and could do with taking back to metal and refinishing (along with one of the wheel arches, please see photos). Other areas of the paintwork have micro blistered and a couple of small areas have broken paint. The chrome work is overall very good with some tarnishing to the front bumper but no holes or rot. The wheels and tyres are in very good order, as is the spare wheel. The glasswork is all in place with nothing missing. The interior overall is in a good serviceable order. The reupholstered door cards, dashboard, front seats, carpets and rear parcel shelf are lovely. The front seat backs have somewhat faded and the lower seat bed frames have protruded through the leather in a couple of places. The rear seats have unfortunately cracked and crazed and ideally need to be reupholstered. The interior overhaul was likely completed along with a respray and mechanical overhaul at a similar time, possibly around 2012 based on some invoices from the extensive history file. All fixtures and fittings appear to be in place, and once again lots of documents to support this. The car could be used as it is, following light recommissioning, It still looks fantastic and is all together. An enthusiast may wish to improve upon it over time, as it would not take much to bring it back to first class order. Should a potential buyer wish us to undertake any of the work on their behalf, such as cosmetic or mechanical recommissioning then this is certainly within our wheelhouse and can be negotiated separately upon viewing. If the car were concourse, I would imagine it would command a £25,000 price tag. Therefore, as it stands we have priced the car extremely fairly at £14,999 as a running project, if sold in this manner we are simply acting as the selling agent for a vehicle deemed suitable for spares or repair only. The car has been stored since 2018 and will certainly need some basic mechanical recommissioning as a minimum. If we are to carry out this work (negotiated separately) then we are happy to offer the car under retail conditions. In summary this is an exclusive offer to purchase the only 1960s Pontiac Ventura available for sale in the UK, with incredible service history and provenance. The vehicle is offered for sale as spares or repair due to requiring minor recommissioning. Following a meeting and viewing of the car, additional mechanical and / or cosmetic works can be carried out by ourselves on your behalf at a competitive price. The car starts on the button, runs, drives and is solid underneath. Be quick, the car is virtually unrepeatable in the UK market. Thank you.
